Abhorrency was formed in 2019 out of Sacramento California. While still a fairly new entity, Abhorrency features members who have been involved in the black/death/grind scene for the past 2 decades and with their inaugural demo in 2020 blasphemy and perversion was reborn! Abhorrency plays barbaric, unholy, and perverse black/death metal and proudly upholds the legacy of evil forged by such legendary death and black metal masters as Incantation, Archgoat, Diocletian, Dead Congregation, Immolation, Black Witchery, and Profanatica.
With their debut full-length "Climax of Disgusting Impurities", Abhorrency pushes their blasphemous filth further than ever before (including proper studio recordings of their demo songs). An album that is all at once sonically violent, disgustingly Satanic, and physically dominating. Blurring the lines between black and death metal, Abhorrency manifests pure ugliness and devastation!
